TriedThat is a mobile application operated by Lashachi Inc., a Canadian company. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and handled when you use TriedThat.TriedThat is designed to help you privately remember things you have tried and whether you would choose them again.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create or use a TriedThat account, we may collect information necessary to authenticate and maintain your account, such as your email address and an internal account identifier.TriedThat uses email-based authentication. Authentication emails, including one-time verification codes, are transactional messages used to help you access your account.
Memories and Information You Add
When you use TriedThat, you may create memories containing information such as:• the name of an item or experience;
• category;
• your verdict or rating;
• notes;
• location or place information that you choose to enter; and
• other information you voluntarily add to a memory.This information is associated with your account when it is saved to TriedThat's servers.
Information We Collect
We currently collect:Email communications: your email address and any information you choose to provide when you contact us by email.We do not currently collect analytics, cookies, or tracking data on this website beyond what is strictly necessary for hosting and security (see Section 6).Please do not include passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal information in emails you send to us.
Photos
TriedThat may allow you to attach photos to memories. In the current version of TriedThat, attached photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to TriedThat's servers.Your device operating system may ask for permission before TriedThat can access photos or other device features.
Subscription and Purchase Information
TriedThat may offer a paid TriedThat Solo subscription.Purchases are processed through the applicable app store and are managed using RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. Lashachi Inc. does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information.We may receive information needed to determine your subscription status, such as whether your TriedThat Solo entitlement is active, along with associated purchase or subscription information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through TriedThat to:• provide and operate the app;
• authenticate your account;
• save and retrieve your memories;
• maintain your account across supported devices;
• determine whether you have access to TriedThat Solo features;
• process and restore subscription entitlements;
• provide security and prevent misuse;
• respond to support or privacy requests; and
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the service.We do not use your private TriedThat memories to sell advertising to you.
4. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information.We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate TriedThat, such as providers supporting hosting, authentication, email delivery, subscription management, and app infrastructure.These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal processes, protect the security or integrity of TriedThat, enforce applicable terms, or protect the rights and safety of Lashachi Inc., our users, or others.
5. RevenueCat and App Store Purchases
TriedThat uses RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions and determine whether an account has access to paid features.If you purchase TriedThat Solo, the transaction itself is processed by the applicable app marketplace, such as Apple's App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat may process subscription-related information necessary to manage and verify your entitlement.Your use of an app marketplace may also be subject to that marketplace's own privacy practices and terms.
6. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information under our control.No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.Some information may be processed or stored by service providers located outside your province, territory, state, or country. As a result, information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions where those providers operate.
7. Data Retention
We retain account information and server-stored TriedThat data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, meet legitimate operational requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.Information stored only on your device, such as locally stored photos in the current version of TriedThat, may remain on that device unless you remove it or delete the app or its associated local data.
8. Accessing or Deleting Your Information
TriedThat provides account-management functionality that allows you to delete your account.When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account that we are not required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial-recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes.You may also contact Lashachi Inc. to ask questions about your personal information or request access to or correction of personal information, subject to applicable law.Deleting your TriedThat account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription managed through Apple or Google. App-store subscriptions may need to be cancelled separately through your app-store account.
9. Children's Privacy
TriedThat is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent would be required by applicable law.If you believe a child has provided personal information to TriedThat inappropriately, please contact us.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights relating to your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information.Lashachi Inc. will respond to valid privacy requests in accordance with applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services
TriedThat relies on third-party services to provide portions of its functionality. Those providers may process limited information as necessary to provide their services and may maintain their own privacy policies.Third-party services used by TriedThat may change as the application develops. We will update this Privacy Policy when changes materially affect how personal information is handled.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as TriedThat develops, our practices change, or legal and platform requirements evolve.When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Where required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
